Crafty bunting project

Hello! Here are some pictures of a recent bunting project I created using a crafty design I had already made for aprons and tea towels earlier in the year. I thought it would be a nice way to use the design considering it's made up of arty, crafty illustrations and words.

The design was screen printed on to natural cotton calico and then cut into triangles, stitched front to front, reversed and then pressed. The finished bunting has 11 flags and stretches across approximately 2 and half metres. I even made a little tote bag with one of the flags so it can be kept neatly in storage.

This little lot was shipped off to Folksy for their Summer school on the 10th and 11th August. If you're going, see if you can spot it- I would love to see some pics of it in situ! Here are some more pics of the bunting and if you click this link you can see all the other crafty bunting that was sent in!
