Offset57-new shop & stockist

I'm delighted to share news on a new independent shop that launched recently in the Granite City of Aberdeen. They hold creative events and workshops alongside running a busy craft gallery and store at the Academy Shopping Centre in Aberdeen. Recent talks have been given by well known illustrators such as Ben Newman and coming up on the 12th March they will have the Felt Mistress aka Louise Evans and Jonathan Edwards sharing their industry experience and knowledge.

Offset57 aims to make it easy to buy affordable work and support design and creativity in Aberdeen. Their range includes Prints, Illustration, Zines, Textiles, Jewellery, Ceramics, Greetings Cards, Stickers, Badges, Bags, Papercraft; the list is endless.  They stock work from established collectives and designers, to up and coming individuals and groups. Excitingly I've also got my work stocked there as a 'guest illustrator'!

ALL AT SEA

Here's my mug for a charity auction that's raising cash for the ANCHOR Unit in Aberdeen. There are 8 mugs lined up in the auction each individually designed by artists. Mine is called 'All at sea' and has been hand illustrated with old boots, ships, sea life and teapots-follow this link to bid:

No.43 at NEOS

Hello... I've finally finished new work for the NEOS week 11-19th September. Now in it's 7th year North East Open Studios welcomes the public to visit over 200 artists based in studios, halls, shops, galleries as well as pop-up spaces and garages! I have set up shop with OPUS of Aberdeen on Holburn Street and am fortunate to be able to display work in their window space as well have prime carousels in their lovely gift shop. On display are my Mellybee illustrations- now on hand-screen printed teatowels, cups & saucers, plates and teapots as well as original framed pieces. I have also included some of my fine art paintings of local landscapes and castles. Visiting hours are Mon-Fri 10-5.00pm and Sat 9.30-2.30 pm-please leave a comment if you make a visit!  I'm looking forward to having a peek at some of the other artists & galleries in the area and I hope you do too!
