Out of this world!

I had drawn this space themed alphabet a little while ago and had put it away whilst I was concentrating on Fishy/Sea related products. However prompted by the call-out for SPACE related submissions for the Cardiff Design Festival,  I decided to dig it out and finish it off.  I decided to keep to a simple colour palette as the lettering did get a little wacky!
Why not enter yourself - the exhibition is open to anyone who likes to draw and all pieces will be featured on the website. See here for more details.

Thought I'd let you know I've been interviewed by Burst Magazine for their latest issue on Typography. Although I wouldn't say I was a Typesetter I do love to create quirky hand-drawn lettering and so you'll find a few of my newer pieces centred on my nautical theme are featured alongside the interview.
It was a bit of a surprise to be asked but I found the process a great way to reflect on where I was with my illustration/art practice and a helpful reminder of how I've progressed and where I'm going. To read more please click by BurstMagazine's website and download Issue Five- it's free and has lots of other inspiring creatives in there too!
