Last Christmas order dates

If you're intending on buying online from the shop please make a note of my last Christmas order dates which are slightly earlier than last posting dates to ensure you get your goodies in time for Christmas. Cheers!

Mellybee Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection

Here's my latest offering of products ready for the Autumn/Winter season. New to the collection are my screenprinted cushions which have been in the pipeline for well over a year. I've added to my Christmas line more of Mr. Gingerbread as last year he did prove to be a popular card and decoration choice! You'll also find my Love heart mini-totes have been expanded into a Love, Joy, Peace range with products not only suitable for the festive season but also for a range of gift giving ideas- like births/anniversaries/weddings/valentines etc! And lastly I've made a Home Sweet Home mini line that includes a lavender bag, card and cushion- perfect to brighten your home this Autumn.
Enjoy!

Renegade Recap 2012

Well it's 2 weeks today since I packed my bags and lugged my Mellybee range to the 2nd Annual Renegade Craft Fair in London held on the 15/16th September- and I've finally got round to posting some photos. (Yes it's been that busy here)!

Here's just a brief recap of what went on with some photos of the fair and people I met.

It was an early start on Saturday morning at camp Renegade sellers alike were setting up from around 8- I managed to get there by 9 and was greeted by Jam and Ali from Hellododo who were sharing the booth space with me. After sorting out how we positioned the tables we set to work sticking, stacking and general displaying of our wares ready for the opening at 11am.

Laying out my wares. Photos courtesy of booth sharer Hellododo.

Renegade's hotdesk- all the info you need manned by the Renegade team!
The creating table- beautiful paper flowers.
There was a pretty steady stream of people on both days - and it was interesting to hear how folk had heard about RCF. Some had been following the fair online and had yet to experience it in the flesh(like me) others had heard about it through Mollie Makes magazine and others through word of mouth. Customers had travelled from far and wide too- I met a lady from the Isle of wight, a lady from Amsterdam, a couple from Germany and even some from Birmingham, Norwich, Nottingham, as well as a couple of women from South Africa. There were a few American based stall holders too!
I also had my photo taken by the very talented Karolina Koziel - you'll see the profile photo she took on my facebook page and other social media sites- including this blog!

Here are some photos of the other stall holders met:

Custommade-jewellery and bags
Miso Funky and Finest Imaginary
Hand over your fairy cakes - all the way from Glasgow!
I am Acrylic- all the way from 'round the corner..
Lovely Pigeon
Mr. Sean Mort's Print Shop - our booth neighbour

It was a great couple of days- not only was it a good opportunity to meet all the lovely customers that came but also being able to share advice and tales with other independent sellers in that kind of environment was invaluable. Folksy, being one of Renegade's sponsors made themselves available for questions and tips on selling online- they even bought us tea on Sunday for anyone who wanted to pick their brains!

Spring Ahead!

I'm part of one of stalls taking part in Blogandbuysale's online fairs- this one is called Spring Ahead and has been running from the beginning of March and will continue right through till after Easter on April 23rd.
As usual they have have 3 rosettes up for grabs; with each of the winners being awarded 4 weeks free promotion on the BlogAndBuySale home page.
The 'Guest Creative Pick' rosette this month is being judged by http://www.flamingomagazine.com.
Also one rosette will be given to the Stall with the most shares (Facebook 'Likes' and Tweets combined).

It would be much appreciated if you hopped over to visit my stall at number 18 and gave it a quick LIKE or TWEET- it only takes a click! (cheers)!
The final rosette is awarded by the Blogandbuysale team- so please do go visit- it's a great resource and blog for creative peeps!

Fishy things at Here & Now

My Fishy themed artwork is now for sale in a few places, one of them is in my favourite independent shop in Falmouth Here and Now Gallery. If you manage to pop in (and you won't be disappointed if you do) you'll find Kate O'Leary (owner) stocks all sorts of fabulous designs from a a wide range of artists.  Take a trip to the seaside,  have some fish and chips as well and make it a grand day out!
